About the Attourney

Mr. Lloyd is an attorney in private practice who has also served as a member of the adjunct faculty at the University of Tennessee College of Law, and as a federal judicial law clerk. 


He has represented clients in jury and nonjury trials, and has appeared before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Tennessee, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, the Supreme Court of Tennessee, the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals, the Tennessee Court of Appeals, and circuit, chancery and general sessions courts in multiple counties in Tennessee, as well as courts in other states. Mr. Lloyd has served as an arbitrator and as a mediator. At the request of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, he has served as the vice chair of a merit selection panel to consider the reappointment of a federal magistrate judge.

Mr. Lloyd is a panel attorney on the Criminal Justice Act panel for the Eastern District of Tennessee, authorized to act as defense counsel for indigent persons charged with federal crimes.


He is a Life Member of the Sixth Circuit Judicial Conference and a Former President and Master of the Bench, Hamilton Burnett (Knoxville, TN) American Inn of Court.
